Christian Louboutin and Marni

Another new addition to my forever growing (hopefully) Christian Louboutin Shoe Collection.... I am sooooooo addicted to Louboutin Shoes!!!!!

I've been really drooling over this pair of sandals ever since I saw it in a magazine. It had been seen on catwalk, they are soooo gorgeous and expressive. The zip details provided instant updates to the wardrobe too!!!!
So why was there a delay in this purchase then????
Ok fine.... Sometimes, I'm just being "cheapskate" lor - hoping that it will go on sale. I figured I might get lucky, knowing that it belongs to a seasonal collection. Well, after waiting for a few months, it was still full retail price. Since I am leaving for Asia soon, I at first thought of trying my luck over there. Plus I wanted to stop shopping for a while after my recent contributions to the economy.........

Hubby: Did I hear wrongly?? Are u sure sure??
Me: We are going to the "Shopping Paradise" in Asia next week.. so must cut down shopping... or else I will be doing window shopping there....
Hubby: Haha... We shall see.....

So what was going on? What has motivated me to flash my credit card?

My hubby reminded me that I had a mailer from Saks Fifth Avenue which stated Sales starting soon!!!! Frankly speaking, I wasn't paying attention to it at all. As mentioned, I was being good and really wanted to limit my shopping process. Well, while browsing last week, this pair of sandals were still FULL PRICE in MANY MANY stores (even till today!!!). Then, I chanced upon Saks website without expecting anything. However, there........ I saw it!! SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!!!! Hubby who was beside me said "Get it NOW before someone else gets hold of it" Immediately, I placed the order!!!! And.... Thanks to hubby for supporting me to make this purchase as I realised later it was the "ONLY PAIR" in my size.

Next are my new Marni Top and Necklace from the shopping spree in LA (just being delivered from the boutique)

My SA from Marni was sooo sooo sweet..... I absolutely adore her. Not only did she take many many pictures of the different necklaces for my preview and consideration, she even took the extra effort to make the necessary delivery arrangements so that the items will arrive just in time before I leave for Asia.
Once again, difficult choices... all due to my indecisiveness!!! However, after seeking advice from both my nice nice cousins (CY and Peggy) and friend (Serene)....... I decided that THIS was what I LOVED to have!!!!

This Marni Necklace is made of wood, coconut, horn and resin. I like that it portrays a cheerful, funky and casual chic look

I love this Top.... Fashionable and yet Understated!!!!

Ok... I think these are all for now... Doing my final packing and be ready for our Asia Trip!!!!!

Dinner Buffet

We had dinner buffet with the usual group today!!!!
This was my first buffet in this hotel. Service was decent. Food was average but acceptable. The regular price of the buffet was around $16 per person. The restaurant is running some sort of promotion for local residents. As it stands, we took advantage of it - at an unbelievable price of $7.77 per person!!!!!!
Dish selections include the Seafood station filled with fresh cooked shrimp and crab, Carving station with prime rib, Pasta station, International station with foods from around the world, Pizza station, Salad bar, Pastry bar with assorted pies, cakes, cream puffs, fruit tarts, Dessert station featuring make-your-own-sundae.

Since it was a buffet and everyone was taking their own portion.... I did not take any pictures of the food..... Hence, would like to compensate by showing you guys some scenes of us at the buffet table and many pictures of my favourite girl!!!!!
